
David Haines has served as Group CEO of Flora Food Group since its creation in 2018, building it into the world’s largest independent culinary-essentials company, operating in over 100 countries with more than €3 billion in annual revenue.
Under his leadership, the business has evolved from a spreads-focused heritage into a global, multi-category food group positioned around modern consumer needs and food culture.
David brings more than two decades of CEO experience across global consumer and industrial businesses, with a strong track record of value creation under private equity ownership. He previously served as CEO of Grohe and Lixil Water Technology. Earlier in his career, he became Marketing Director at Mars at age 29, served as COO of Coca-Cola Germany, and led Vodafone’s global brand unification across more than 200 entities - one of the largest corporate rebranding programmes of its time. His leadership philosophy combines operational excellence with brand- and demand-led growth. He champions a culture grounded in performance, care and passion, focused on helping people cook and eat better every day.

Giangaddo Prati (“Gaddo”) joined Flora Food Group as Chief Financial Officer on 1 January 2026. He oversees Finance Operations, Information Technology, Cyber Security, and Legal and Compliance, driving alignment across governance, risk management and financial performance.
Gaddo brings more than 20 years of leadership experience from Barilla Group, where he played a pivotal role in transforming finance, M&A and digital capabilities.
During his tenure, the company delivered significant revenue growth and materially strengthened operating margins, while reinforcing operational discipline and long-term resilience. At Flora Food Group, he combines financial rigour with a technology-enabled mindset, supporting sustainable growth and accelerating the company’s next phase of transformation.

Laurent Lavenut joined Flora Food Group in 2019 and serves as Chief Operations Officer at Flora Food Group, leading global supply chain, manufacturing, procurement, quality and product excellence across more than 100 markets.
He plays a central role in ensuring operational performance, resilience and innovation across the company’s expanding culinary portfolio.
He brings over 20 years of international leadership experience in operations and supply chain management across consumer and food businesses. Prior to joining Flora Food Group, Laurent was Senior Vice President, Supply Chain at Coty’s Consumer Beauty Division. Earlier, he held senior operational roles at Danone, including Vice President of Operations for the Advanced Medical Nutrition Division. Laurent is recognised for building high-performing global operations, strengthening end-to-end supply chains and embedding product quality and efficiency as drivers of competitive advantage.

Rogier Smeets is the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) at Flora Food Group, where he leads commercial strategy, revenue growth, and integrated brand and product innovation.
Returning to Flora Food Group in 2025, Rogier brings over two decades of international leadership experience in the food and beverage sector.
Previously, he served as Chief Executive Europe and Global COO at Tropicana, and held multiple executive positions at Unilever, driving growth across Europe and Asia.

Tim Verbeek serves as President, Emerging Markets, leading Flora Food Group’s business units across Latin America, Africa, the Middle East and Asia-Pacific.
He brings more than 20 years of experience in brand development, commercial leadership and general management across global FMCG companies, including Unilever and Heineken.
In addition, Tim has entrepreneurial experience as Founder and CEO of two businesses. At Flora Food Group, he focuses on accelerating growth across high-potential markets, building strong local teams and adapting the company’s culinary portfolio to diverse regional consumer needs.

Jim Breach joined Flora Food group in 2018 and serves as President, North America, leading Flora Food Group’s business across the United States and Canada.
He brings close to 40 years of experience in commercial leadership, brand development and general management including at both Flora Food Group and Unilever.
Jim has demonstrated strong commercial development, strategic market growth and talented team building skills. He is responsible for accelerating growth in two of the company’s most strategically important markets, strengthening customer partnerships and expanding Flora Food Group’s presence across both retail and foodservice channels.

Malte Hoffmann joined Flora Food Group in February 2021 and serves as President, Europe. He previously held the roles of Vice President Northern & Western Europe and Managing Director Western Europe.
Under Malte’s leadership, the company has delivered a strong performance in key markets including Germany and the Netherlands, while strengthening commercial execution and innovation across the region.
He focuses on driving sustainable growth across core categories, strengthening customer relationships and building high-performing teams aligned to the company’s values of performance, care and passion. His leadership promotes cross-market collaboration, sharing of best practices and long-term strategic planning tailored to local consumer needs.

Herman Betten joined Flora Food Group in 2024 as Chief Corporate Affairs & Sustainability Officer, leading global reputation, stakeholder engagement and the company’s sustainability agenda across more than 100 markets.
He supports the Group’s evolution from a spreads-focused heritage to a broader, multi-category culinary business aligned with changing consumer expectations.
He brings senior international experience across corporate affairs, public policy and brand strategy, with a strong track record in transformation, complex regulatory environments and high-profile issues. His expertise spans ESG strategy, government relations, crisis management and global communications, linking policy and science to commercial priorities. At Flora Food Group, he focuses on aligning purpose, policy and performance.

Before joining Flora Food Group, Olga served as Senior Vice President and Global Category Officer at Reckitt. Earlier in her career, she led innovation and new brand and category development at PepsiCo. She began her career at P&G and went on to hold senior roles at Danone, Heineken and Estée Lauder.

Eve Baldwin serves as Chief People and Organisation Officer at Flora Food Group, leading the global people strategy, talent development and organisational transformation agenda.
She brings more than 20 years of international HR leadership experience across FMCG and automotive sectors.
Prior to joining Flora Food Group, Eve was Vice President HR at Unilever’s spreads and personal care divisions. Earlier, she held senior HR roles at Ford Motor Company in Europe. At Flora Food Group, Eve is focused on building a high-performance culture rooted in the company’s values of performance, care and passion, while developing the capabilities needed to support continued global growth.

Anthony Barratt became General Counsel of Flora Food Group on 1 January 2026. He leads the company’s global legal and compliance agenda, supporting agile decision-making and disciplined risk management as the business scales.
Anthony joined Flora Food Group in 2018, bringing experience as General Counsel for various private equity owned businesses including Iglo Food Group (now Nomad Foods) and Vertu.
In his previous roles as Chief Legal Officer, he oversaw legal matters across all areas of the Group business and led critical projects and areas including intellectual property and data privacy. As General Counsel, he works closely with leadership and regional teams to elevate compliance standards while enabling confident, commercially focused execution.
