Flora Food Group Announces Appointment of New Chief Financial Officer

Amsterdam (Netherlands) — 26, November 2025 — Flora Food Group today confirmed the appointment of Giangaddo Prati as Chief Financial Officer, effective 1 January 2026, following a transition period as CFO Elect commencing 1 December 2025.

Mr. Prati succeeds Florence Naviner, who will retire after serving as Chief Financial Officer at Flora Food Group since 2020. Over her tenure, Florence played a critical role in strengthening financial governance, supporting strategic growth initiatives, and guiding the company through evolving market dynamics. The Board and Executive Leadership Team extend their sincere thanks for her dedication and leadership.

Giangaddo joins Flora Food Group after a 24-year career at Barilla Group, where he led transformation within Finance, improved decision-making through the integration of new technologies, and embedded operational efficiency at scale. During his leadership, Barilla grew revenues from €3 billion to €5 billion, improved operating margins by 30%, and reduced outstanding debt.
At Flora Food Group, he will oversee Finance Operations, Cyber Security, Information Technology, Legal, and Compliance, consolidating oversight across risk management, governance, and financial audit. This appointment reinforces the company’s long-term focus on capital discipline, operational resilience, and sustainable performance.

“Giangaddo brings exceptional financial and transformation expertise,” said David Haines, Group CEO. “His leadership capabilities and track record in delivering strategic growth make him an ideal successor. I’m also deeply grateful to Florence for her outstanding contribution and commitment to Flora Food Group. Her support through the transition will ensure continuity and a strong foundation for Giangaddo’s success.”

Florence and Giangaddo will work together to ensure a seamless transition ahead of the formal transfer of CFO responsibilities. Florence will leave the company on 31 March 2026, following the closing of the 2025 accounts.
