Upfield attends the annual Women's Forum Foodservice Networking Event in Hamburg

Last week, Upfielders from Violife Professional including Saskia Jakumeit, Celsa Raymond, Saskia Fritsch, and Gudrun Leibl attended the 9th Annual Women’s Forum Foodservice networking event in Hamburg. The theme was “Courage Feels Good”, and the event lived up to its inspirational motto.

Over 300 passionate women from across the food service industry gathered to connect, share stories, and uplift one another. Speakers like triathlete Anne Haug and Legoland Germany GM Manuela Stone reminded attendees that success comes from persevering through uncertainty, getting back up after setbacks, and having the courage to create positive change.

According to Saskia Jakumeit, "It was incredible to see so many women supporting each other. The enthusiasm in the room was contagious and I'm excited to explore new business partnerships for Violife from connections we made."

Gudrun Leibl also noted, "Hearing the success stories of female leaders like family business owners Vivian Graetz, Sophie Hinkel and Nane Remagen gave me motivation to continue breaking barriers for women. I left feeling empowered and full of new ideas to bring back to Upfield."

Upfield is proud to foster female leadership and talent as a company leading the transition to plant-based living with delicious brands like Violife. We believe that diversity of perspectives strengthens our ability to understand customer needs and nourish plant-based living. Events like Frauenforum Foodservice shine light on courageous women shaping the future of food for the better.
