Cookie Notice

Last Updated:17.09.2024

Flora Food Group respects your privacy and we value the relationship we have with you.

We use Cookies and other similar tracking technology on our websites, apps, branded pages on third-party platforms, applications accessed through such websites and third-party platforms operated on behalf of us (the "Sites") to help us enhance your experience, offer our products and services, and ensure our Sites perform as you expect them to.

This Cookie Notice (the "Notice") summarises the different categories of Cookies, and other similar technologies, we use on our Sites. This Notice also provides information about how to manage these Cookies. Please take a moment to read this Notice and, if you have any questions, please send us an email via privacy@florafg.com.

  • What “Cookie” means
Cookies, pixel tags, web beacons and similar technologies (collectively “Cookies”) are files containing small amounts of information which are downloaded to any internet enabled device such as your computer, smartphone or tablet (collectively, the "Device(s)") when you visit a website. Cookies do lots of different and useful jobs, such as remembering your preferences, generally improving your online experience, and helping us to offer you the best product and services.
  • Types of Cookies we use

Cookies set by us, as the website owner, are called "first party Cookies".

Cookies set by parties other than us are called "third party Cookies".

We use a number of third parties that may set Cookies on your Device(s) when you visit our Sites to allow them to deliver tailored advertising within their domains, for example Facebook and Google DoubleClick.

Other types of third-party Cookies on your Device enable us to deliver advertising on our Sites. The companies who place these Cookies may use information about your visits to the Sites to provide relevant advertisements about goods and services that you may be interested in. They also use Cookies to measure the effectiveness of advertisements. The information collected through this process does not enable us or them to identify your name, contact details or other personally identifying details unless you choose to provide this information.

The Cookies used on our Sites may be generally categorised as follows:

    1. Strictly Necessary Cookies: These Cookies are strictly necessary to provide you with products and services available through our Sites and to use Site features.
    2. Targeting and Advertising Cookies: These Cookies are used to make advertising messages more relevant to you.
    3. Analytical Cookies: These allow us to recognise and count the number of visitors to our Sites and to see how visitors navigate our Sites. This helps us to improve the way our Sites work, for example, by ensuring that users are finding what they are looking for easily, what pages they are visiting most often, improving website performance and measuring the success of our email marketing campaigns.
    4. Social and Personalisation Cookies: These Cookies allow for a more tailored experience on our Sites and allow for interaction with social media platforms.

If you would like additional information on the specific Cookies, we (or other third parties) use on our Sites, the purposes why we use those selected cookies, and their duration, please follow the below instructions:

    2.

Click on the relevant Cookie category (i.e., Statistics, Marketing etc.) in order to see the specific types of Cookies used on each Site

From here you can navigate to a pop-up site which sets, in respect of that Site, out why Cookies are being used, the type of information being collected, which information is being shared with third parties, what the information retention periods are and where information is being stored. Due to the international nature of our business, different Sites use differing tools to collect different Cookies.

To find out how to control the use of these Cookies, please see "How to control the use of cookies" section below

Please see our Privacy Notice for further information) which we then profile into consumer audience segments so that we can deliver targeted advertising tailored to your interests and limit the number of times you see a particular campaign, advertisement etc.

    3. To improve our content and advertising (by inserting Cookies in our emails).

    4. To compile anonymous, aggregated statistics that allow us to understand how people use our Sites (and to help us improve their structure and content).

    5. To help us measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns on our Sites.
  • How to control the use of Cookies
