Flora Food Group Joins EAT Stockholm Food Forum 2025 as Main Partner

Amsterdam, 7th March, 2025 – Flora Food Group Joins EAT Stockholm Food Forum 2025 as Main Partner

The EAT Stockholm Food Forum returns on October 3-4, 2025, bringing together global leaders from business, policy, and science to drive action on healthy and sustainable food systems. In anticipation of the launch of the second EAT-Lancet Commission, the Forum is primed to deliver updated science-based recommendations on how to feed a growing global population justly and within planetary boundaries.

In a critical year for food systems, Flora Food Group has joined as a Main Partner to help accelerate the shift toward healthy, sustainable and socially just diets. The company, a branded food champion operating in over 100 countries, will work with EAT to advance science-based solutions and mobilize industry-wide practices and commitments.

“Flora Food Group is proving that the next generation of food is not only delicious, but it’s better for you and for the planet,” said Dr. Gunhild Stordalen, Co-founder and Executive Chair of EAT. “Food businesses must lead the way in making sustainable diets the norm and EAT is thrilled to partner with this innovative company to drive meaningful action at the Forum and beyond.”

David Haines, Group CEO of Flora Food Group, said "Flora Food Group is committed to delivering the next generation of delicious, natural, and nutritious food. Through this partnership with EAT, we will accelerate the transformation of food systems by making sustainable, choices more affordable and accessible to consumers worldwide."

The EAT Stockholm Food Forum: Where Science Meets Business Innovation

The EAT Stockholm Food Forum has long been a driver for systemic change in food, climate and health. This year, it will focus on bridging science, business, and policy to accelerate the transition to food systems that work for people and planet.

As part of its partnership with EAT, Flora Food Group will lead engagements with key food sector stakeholders in the months leading up to the Forum. This includes industry roundtables on sustainable food retail, mobilizing business commitments, and ensuring science-based approaches translate into action.

Industry Collaboration Began at Davos

The collaboration launched at the World Economic Forum in Davos, where EAT and Flora Food Group convened global food leaders to discuss the next generation of sustainable food innovation. The partnership marks a pivotal moment for the industry, underscoring the urgency for businesses to align with climate, biodiversity, and public health goals.

Call to Action

With just five years left to achieve the 2030 global sustainability goals, the EAT Stockholm Food Forum calls on food industry leaders, civil society and policymakers to step up. Science has shown the solutions—now is the time to implement them.
